I received some sick press products from Tatcha. I am completely and utterly spoiled now.

This particular winter in New York has been horrendous. This weekend alone we went through all four seasons, shiz is crazy. My skin has paid dearly for it too; I have been getting these gross dry patches everywhere. I haven't found one product that works consistently.

Some products will work for a couple days others at most a week. I have been using Tatcha Indigo products for about a month now and you cannot imagine how wonderful my skin is now. Every product in the Indigo line contain anti-inflammatory Indigo which is a botanical extract that soothes and calms inflamed, irritated skin with two actives: Tryptanthrin (a nitrogen rich natural compound in Indigo plants prized for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties) and Indirubin (a deep red isometric compound present in natural Indigo that inhibits irritation causing proteins in the body and promotes skin's healing abilities).

Another active ingredient is Hadasei-3 Bioactive Complex which is a proprietary anti-aging complex of Green Tea complete DNA, Okinawa Red Algae and Japanese Rice Bran extracts all very natural and good for your body ingredients.

Tatcha Indigo Collection

The Indigo collection is inspired by the noble samurai of Japan's Edo period who wore indigo dyed cotton beneath their armor so the anti-inflammatory extracts could being to heal their wounds immediately.

As you can see from my photos all the products contain this bluish hue that is really fun to use. Since I received the entire Indigo collection, I figured I would give you my thoughts on each product in turn.

Tatcha - Indigo Collection - Soothing Silk Hand Cream - $38

My hands were so dry my nail tech would sometimes refuse to do my nails until I've soaked my hands in lotion for a good half hour. He was terrified if he worked on them they would start bleeding. That some craziness right there and you never think your hands are as bad as they actually are. The soothing silk hand cream changed my hands completely.  Soothing silk hand cream is rich in Indigo and moisturizing liquid silk. It deeply nourishes my skin leaving my hands baby soft and supple. The blue color of the cream can be a bit unnerving when you first look at it but I promise you it disappears upon application leaving you with just a layer of hydration that is not sticky at all. There is also no perfume smell either it's just a clean scent that disappears after a while.  My hands are so much better my nail tech gives me a compliment every time I am in the chair. This product is worth every penny. I'm so glad I received it.

OOOOOOOooooo I love this one too, knees looking like you have been praying in the sand for weeks? Feet so dry it looks like you've been stomping powdered donuts? Elbows so white it looks like you were elbow deep in flour? Then I have something you need like right now. Meet Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Body Butter by far the best body butter on the market.  Another product rich in Indigo, liquid silk and squalane the product penetrates deeply into the skin leaving it completely supple and restored. What I love is this product is ideal for sensitive skin; it works well for any skin types including people with symptoms of dermatitis, eczema and rosacea.  This product has made such a difference on my heels it's not even a joke, I'm pretty sure my pedicurist is happy about that.

Sometimes a body needs something a bit stronger, for those the Indigo collection offers the Soothing Silk Treatment a highly concentrated treatment that works similarly to the body butter but with much more power. I used this product on my tough dry spots and overnight there was a huge difference.  Overall each product did more than I ever could have expected. I am in love with the skin and will continue buying the body butter until they don't make it anymore. Has anyone else tried Tatcha products?
