I'm completely shocked I haven't put this up on the blog earlier. I'm positive it's mostly because I'm really selfish and this product is just too good for words. I can't have all of you looking as good as me, hello I need a serious edge over you gorgeous divas!

Hourglass Cosmetics - Ambient Light - Radiant Light $45

I received a press sample of Ambient Light by Hourglass Makeup in Radiant Light. As a reminder Radiant Light is described as a sun-kissed golden beige powder. Radiant Light will extend a summer glow or enhance the overall complexion with believable subtle warmth.

You can wear any Ambient Light finishing powder as an all over sheer veil, or as an enhancement on the cheekbones. My look determines how I use Radiant Light. For example, I go for the cheekbone enhancement. It gives you this healthy glow and people at work think I'm always in a good mood. At night for dates and hanging with the chicas I use it all over for that diva glow. You don't realize how well this product works until the compliments start rolling in. It's really subtle but scores major points.

The texture of Hourglass Cosmetics' Ambient Lighting Powder is like an exceptional cashmere. I noticed when using my round brush there will extra powder loosened but it's easily picked up and used on the face, no wasted product and nothing too messy. The powder itself is extremely fine. I didn't find it to be streaky or chalky. The product doesn't sit on the skin unless you completely over do it so be easy on the brush and apply in layers if really necessary. It's better to build the look you want then having to start over.

The light reflection is delicate but noticeable, I find this finishing powder to be of much higher quality than other brands you find on the market now.  This is by far the best finishing powder and you need to get your hands on one.

I used a regular round brush to apply the swatch:

On the swatch above the product looks really chalky and bold, it's nothing like that when applied to the skin for use. If your doing a test swatch on your arm at the counter, you  may want to just apply the color and then blend the edges out. I've been told people are turned off when swatching it in the store but you have to remember your applying a heavy amount of product to see the color payoff, it's much nicer blended out.

I tried to take photos of one side of my face highlighted with the Radiant Light, but the photos didn't do the powder enough justice. I'm going to try taking more photos and see if you can tell. In the meantime if you pick up any new products please make sure you have Hourglass Ambient Light in your cart. I'm already buying Dim Light and Luminous Light they are just that good.

Has anyone else tried Ambient Light by Hourglass?
