I received a press sample of MUFE's new foundation Pro Finish. This product is more than 6 years in the making, Make Up For Ever Creator and Artistic Director Dany Sanz tested more than 70 different formulations before finding the right one that met her approval. All that hard work really shows in the quality of this product. I'm not a fan of compact powder, I much prefer liquid foundation. After using Pro Finish for about a month I'm a complete convert. It's the most natural and true to skin foundation I've used in a long time. It blends seamlessly onto my skin and I never look like I have anything on, the formula never looks chalky or cakey.
I wear this alone, I don't see a need to wear liquid foundation under. However you can use this over your liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer. The compact is makeup bag friendly and it's great for touch ups.
Pro Finish is a unique multi-use product that is formulated to be applied both wet or dry. When applied wet it delivers a sheer, satin coverage. When applied dry the coverage is full and matte. I prefer dry since my skin is beyond oily and tends to get super shiny around noonish. Most compact powders I've used gave me a pancake like coverage which was really noticeable.
If your worried that once you wet the product you'll only be able to use it in wet form then have no fear. This formula boasts a patented vegetal litchen coating that not only makes the pigments look more natural, it also has long wearability and water resistance so the formula can go back and forth between wet and dry.
There are 25 different shades with four undertones (golden, olive, beige and pink) so you will absolutely find the shade that matches you skin tone. I really love this product and will definitely be repurchasing once I've finished my press sample.
As anyone else tried Pro Finish?
