Another product I meant to review some time ago. I swear I'm going through all my photo folders and posting everything that has been back logged. It's hard balancing blogging, a 9-5 job and my home life. However I'm getting better at the juggling act. :)
Here is Talika Skin Retouch. This product is designed to instantly reduces fine lines, wrinkles and redness using a hydrating, ultra-restorative formula that tones, smooths and deeply conditions the skin. Damaged skin is said to look rejuvenated and restored, helping to shed years off the hands, face and neck.
After reading the benefits I was very excited to receive a press sample to try out for the blog.
The applicator on this product is really different, its a silicone dove tail applicator that you must use to apply the product. They really say you must not use your hands to apply. This is very hard for me to use, I'm big on applying product with my fingers. This product you have to use the applicator and go from section to section. It's time consuming and that's a huge negative right here. This is a product you can just slap on before your makeup in the morning. This is better used when doing photo shoots or big events where you have plenty of time to get ready to look your best.
The product itself is not greasy or heavy. The skin absorbs it rather quickly and you do notice some plumping upon absorbtion. I don't have noticeable fine lines or wrinkles anywhere (thanks to my good genes, THANKS MOM!) but the pores on my face are less visible and my skin tone looks more even and a bit brighter. The skin is really soft as well, but I'm not seeing the matte effects your supposed to get. Could be my skin is just super oily in the t-zone. It's hard to find any product that gives me a complete matte look.
Overall, it's a good product. If you take a lot of selfies then I would absolutely suggest picking up the Talika Skin Retouch Serum. It's way cheaper than photoshop software.
What do you guys think?
