I received a sample of Ageless Derma Special Clay Masque directly from the brand.
This masque was created for people who suffer from acne. At 34 years old, I still suffer from massive acne breakouts. At the moment I'm dealing with a huge breakout and figured this would be the perfect opportunity to break out this bad boy and give it a really good test drive.
The Ageless Derma Clay Masque is enriched with all natural ingredients that help to detoxify and clarify the skin. The brand claims after using this product your skin should look clear and have a glow. The clay masque also has this unique drawing action that extracts toxins, excess oils and dirt from your pores. I'm really looking forward to the excess oil part since I have a major problem with over active sebum production that leaves me shining for half the day. The ingredients include Allantoin which is taken from the Comfrey Root it helps to heal inflamed skin while it protects and softens. This helps to give you smoother skin that feels more nourished. Allantoin also helps stimulate new cell growth, refreshes the outer layer of skin and reduces inflammation. Ingredients also include Vitamin B5 which helps regenerate skin cells as well as moisturize the skin. This clay masque is similar in scent and thickness as other clay masks I have used in the past. The smell is not over powering; it smells very typical to a clay masque. The coverage is buildable as the product is pretty thin straight from the packaging. Once you have a good layer applied it's very relaxing. It gives a slight tingle but nothing over bearing.
I believe this product works extremely well and I'm glad that I received the sample to review. I will absolutely use this product again and again. I like how my skin feels after I used it. While the pimples are not completely gone, my skin does look a bit clearer and I see a glow. I believe if I use the product as part of my routine my skin would be much clearer and pimples would be a thing of the past. I understand the price is on the higher end but it's worth the price tag.
