I seem to be on a roll with MAC Cosmetics lately. Do you remember that hype that happened a couple of months ago where everyone was going ape shit because Heroine was be released again. Granted I never tried Heroine before so I couldn't process what all the hype was about. When it was finally landed in the MAC Stores I picked one up.
At first glance can I say I just wasn't impressed with it. It seemed to me just another matte purple lipstick.
Heroine is described as this matte bright purple. It looks scarier in the tube to be real with you, applies its more darker and has some red in it.
The color is gorgeous. It is completely opaque in just one swipe. For a matte is still applies creamy, and there is no tugging or pulling. I like the color and I can see myself wearing it pretty often.
But with all that being said I still understand the whole hoopla that surrounding it's re-release. Anyone else have this color?
