I recently stumbled across Pose thanks to Brandbacker.  You need to check out this one out: Pose, is a new app that encourages users to share what you’re buying, or thinking of buying, with your friends. It's similar to Instagram where you are uploading photos you take from your phone but it's totally different in terms of the use.

I've been on the site a couple of days and I'm hooked. Basically the best way to use Pose is whenever you are out and you come across a product that makes your head spin and your mouth pop open you take a pic. Tag it with your current location and the product’s price, then post. Your friends/followers can then leave comments on the photo. You can browse photos of what your friends have shared in the app’s style feed. In addition to the iPhone/Android app, Pose has a web presence — every snapshot you take gets its own URL, which you can share via Twitter and Facebook.

You need to pick up this like yesterday, when you open the, after creating your account, you are asked to take a fashion quiz. This is to allow Pose to understand your interests both beauty and fashion so you can follow people who’s style reflects that of your own.Very similar to the questionnaire for a monthly subscription service. It's tailored to your likes so your only seeing products you would be interested in. Muy Bueno...

First your asked to select your gender. Then, Pose wants to know about your style  having you choose options like are you preppy, vintage or classic? Afterwards you choose how you like to make a statement, do you prefer to stand out with jewelry or do you let your makeup do the talking? and so on. Once Pose understands your tastes and interests, you are shown an initial group of peeps with tastes that match your answers and you are given the option to follow. You can then access the primary menu with feeds of people whom are posting photos of their style trends and you can view trends in real-time.  You can share your own poses and the Pose iPhone app is highly integrated with social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

I'm pretty addicted to this app and I'm constantly trying to find new products to add to my feed. This is one of those apps you are going to hear a lot about...won't you come find dbeautyjunkie on Pose?
