I received a press sample of BA Star's Natural Eye Shadow Palette. As you can see above this is a gorgeous palette that can be used for day and night smokey looks. Onlyh $8.75 you can grab a two of these palettes for the price of one name brand shadow. They sell a whole variety of products like foundation, glitter, eyeshadow palettes, glitter stickers, etc it's really fun shopping on the site you get so many great products for such a low price.
Sorry back to the palette; I reallly adore these colors they work so well on my skin tone. The colors are 3 pressed mineral shadows in Bronze, Cocoa, and Nude and 2 Gel Glitters in Gold and Crystal as well as a double ended applicator.
The first thing I thought of when I tried the eyeshadows were they are more shimmery than my coastal scents 88 shimmer palette. I love that the glitters can be used on top of the shadows or extra oomphf or on their own. The best part is you don't need a seperate adhesive to apply the glitter it's mixed into it's own gel that is super easy to use. Plus there is no need to worry about fallout. You do need to be careful with the glitters as they have a bit of grit to it, other than that it worked really well. I will definitely keep using the glitters in this palette.
At the end of the day I really like the pigmentation of this palette. The colors are rich and buildable. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the other palettes that are available on the site because Natural was the only one I received, but I have total confidence that any of the palettes listed for sale are just as high quality as the one that I received. I already have my eye on Pretty N Pink and True Blue :)
I also checked to see if you can customize the palettes themselves but unfortunately you really can't. You can customize some kits they have available on the site with various products though. Those kits will run you about $25 and contain: a smoky shadow palette; black liner and mascara; blush; lip pencil, vinyl cosmetics bag; 5pc mini brush set and a duo hole pencil sharpner.
