Anyone who has read this blog for any length of time knows of my obsession with mud masks. I have combination skin and it's very problematic even at my age I am still dealing with breakouts like I am still in my freshman year of high school.
While everyone thinks I have great skin it takes a whole lot to maintain. Unfortunately with my schedule I don't have the time I truly need (or the money) to devote to skin care needs. Which is how my obsession with mud masks started in the first place. I noticed a big difference in my skin whenever I would take the time to apply a mask.
I was super excited to receive this product to try out. The Hello Cutie Mud Mask uses the highest quality of ingredients. Which include Hyaluronic Acid, DMAE, Vitamin B3, Pomegranate and Green Tea Extract, Cucumber, Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Chamomille. Hello Cutie by Glam Essentials only uses natural perservatives, no parabens, petroleums, sulfites or other gross harmful ingredients which can cause skin irritations or harmful side effects.
I have extremely sensitive skin, I cannot just grab a mask and use it hoping for the best. I take a small amount and apply to the inside of my arm near the elbow crease to see if I will get an allergic reaction. This product is phenomenal. There were issues when I tested on my skin and I dove into trying this product all over my face using the included thick bristled fan brush.
The product has an extremely smooth consistency like a very thick smoothie, which I found to be quite nice. There is a bit of a minty smell to it but it is not over powering. Just enough to get you to start relaxing. Upon application there is a bit of a tingle but again this is not an alarming sensation because it quickly fades. It is suggested you keep the mask on for at least 15 minutes to achieve the maximum benefit of the ingredients. I enjoyed the mask so much I left it on for 45 minutes because I started watching a movie. Even though I left the mask on for a good stretch of time I did not have any issues with irritation.
The Hello Cutie Mud Mask gives you this deep hydration cocktail that gave me this healthy glow. My skin felt a bit tighter and it was brighter too. The product aids in the reducing, preventing and reverse the signs of aging and dry, young, or mature skin. The mask is also formulated to detoxify the skin from environmental toxins, shrink pores, clear acne and repair damaged skin with continued use. The formula is also unisex and safe for teens to use as well. My hubs has been using it as a spot treatment for breakouts as well.
