Did anyone see the release of those butter glosses by NYX Cosmetics? I received the email announcement then they put up some photos on Instagram. That's all it took becaue I immediately went to the site and I had to pick up three colors that caught my attention.
The price for each is only $5 and it took a lot of restraint on my part in only getting three. However I noticed that even though the names are colors of the tubing are different most of the colors don't seem very different from others. As I noticed on a few other beauty bloggers. Glad I showed restraint here.
Cherry Pie is a glossy red, and I love that there is no glitter in this gloss. It's just a gorgeous simple red. The color is very pigmented, applies super easily. There is some stickiness when applied but after while it dries down to a regular gloss texture.
I also picked up Red Velvet which is a softer pinkier red:
and just because I loved how it looked on the website I picked up Raspberry Tart, a fun soft purple gloss. It's not too opaque so it's a great way to add that purple color in a more subtle way.
Over all the pigmentation on these butter glosses is pretty soft and works for use everyday. A great addition to any makeup bag and the price is perfect.
