The older I get the more I realize how important it is to take care of my skin. Since the ripe age of 2 my grandmother instilled in me the importance of washing my face twice a day, never sleeping with makeup, and moisturizing constantly. Her guidance has made it possible for me to look youthful even as I approach 40. I by no means look like a teenager but I am always looking for products that keep my skin youthful.

I was ecstatic when the people at Paris Hilton's skincare line reached out to review her new products. I received two products to review and all opinions here are my own. This is a very picture heavy post so please allow time for loading.

For years I have watched Paris Hilton on tv and seen her photos in magazines, one thing I always noted is how gorgeous and flawless her skin is. Not even one blemish in site. How could you not wonder what she uses and how she does it. Well now Paris is revealing those secrets to the world. By creating ProD.N.A., a skincare line that was founded on the ultra healing powers of enzymes form marine microalge. Paris found a way to give her flawless complexion to everyone. Talk a really good look at  Paris Hilton, is there a reason not to try these products out after seeing how truly amazing she looks?

For the past ten days I have been using the ProD.N.A. Dual Action Cleansing Gel (retail $29 for 4oz). The cleansing gel is the first step in the system and is formulated with Caviar Lime which effectively and gently exfoliates without stripping skin. It's suitable for all skin types, removes dirt and even makeup. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed, and very hydrated. I have combination skin and this system requires use twice daily for optimal results, normally that will leave my skin feeling tight and irritated after every wash. However at every time I wash I see a little more improvement which encourages me to continue using the products.

The second product I received is the ProD.N.A. Face & Décolletage cream (retail $78 for 1.7oz) yes it's expensive however it is just as indulgent as it is powerful. To dispense the cream you press twice on the airtight activator which releases in the middle of the container a very luxurious cream. You gently massage this cream into your cleansed faced and neck until fully absorbed.

The cream employs the DNA repair technology of  GenoMatrix™ to diminish the appearance of an aging complexion while hydrating skin and blocking it from free radical deterioration. Powerful enzymes and Marine collagen improve firmness and restore elasticity in dull skin, while Kakadu Plum reduces hyperpigmentation and alleviates UV damage. Hyaluronic acid offers continuous moisture, leaving skin feeling hydrated and supple. This cream is suitable for day and night so I used it twice a day on my face and décolletage. It worked as a perfect primer for my makeup applications.  It is extremely ideal for overnight repair so you wake up more vibrant, energized wand youthful complexion. The ProD.N.A.™ Face & Décolletage Cream is suitable for all skin types, and melts into skin on contact to deeply penetrate the layers unveiling healthier skin.

There is a slight smell to the cream but once it's absorbed into the skin I could not smell it anymore and had no issue using this twice a day. It does not leave a film on the skin or feel like it's floating on the face. It's the perfect cream to add to your regimen, beautifully light.

I know that everyone gets weary when it comes to celebrity made brands, I see them everywhere as well. However I think Ms. Hilton put her name on a product that is just amazing. The products have real benefits that have worked for so many, Paris and her team created ProD.N.A. to give everyone the complexion they have always wanted and I am grateful I am one of the many who are in love with their new skin.

Shari - I just got this cleanser and I HATE it. I normally use Amorpacific's Enzyme Treatment Peel powder cleanser but it's $70 so I've been shopping around for a cheaper cleanser that won't be too harsh. This ain't it. It dries me out SO badly. My skin is tight and just not happy after use. Plus, holy crap, that smell. It's so strong and offensive. It smells like a cheap attempt and a unisex musk. I hated this so much, I actually gave it to my husband. So uninterested in skincare is he that he normally washes his face with body wash. This can't be worse than that, right?
