I adore my makeup shows. I was unbelievable excited when I heard IMATS (International Makeup Arist Trade Show) finally arrived in NYC. It was a dream come true. I couldn't wait to finally get my chance to attend.
The character/prosthetic makeup was phenomenal. The Make Up Museum was extraordinary. Let me just show you my photos. I can go on for hours, just ask Nicole from Lipstick & Luxury!!
These photos are all from the Makeup Museum collection. This is the first exhibit you hit:

Fat Dom's Frozen Severed Head - Sopranos

Tony Soprano's Torso from a surgery scene

Jake Gyllenhall - Source Code

I think this is Eric Stoltz - I couldn't read the card.

I'm pretty sure this is Kevin Bacon but from what?

a case full of famous teeth!

Phil Leotardo - Stunt Dummy Head - Sopranos

Eddie Murphy - Meet Dave

These dummies are intense, the detail is just insanity. That Jake Gyllenhall torso is so lifelike I expected him to start breathing. This was by far the best part of the IMATS. I can spend hours checking out these exhibits. I've always had a passion to try it out, just never had the time.

There were a TON of video bloggers there and I met my absolute favorite Queen of Blending. I love her videos!
There were an insane amount of brands and classes that went on during the two day event, I would have taken more photos of everything but I really soaked up the moment. I was able to hang out with my idols, get amazing tips from the brands themselves, and learn some incredible techniques from the masters of the the field. What more could you ask for?
