Anything that has 24K Gold infused into it will always get my attention. I like shiny things. Xanadu 24K Gold Serum is formulated with a combination of botanical ingredients, high tech science, and 24K Real Gold. This serum will moisturize, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even skin tone, repair sun damage, and give you a golden youthful glow. I applied this product every night before bed as well as anytime before applying a full face of makeup.
I was pretty excited to receive this product, now that I am getting older I find the need to preserve my good lucks. Genetically speaking both sides of my family do not suffer from wrinkles but I am always the odd one so better safe then sorry.

Besides all that technical stuff I must say the packaging is really cute. Looks adorable on my dresser and is definitely a conversation starter. I do feel the product is a bit watery for my taste. I like my serums on the thicker side. Also it has some rose extract which I enjoyed I like the smell of roses so long as they are night sitting under my nose all day. The scent does not last for a very long time but it is noticeable when first applied.
Now the gold flecks, there is a primer by YSL that I adore that contains gold flecks and that works amazingly well as a primer. Personally I think these flakes are just a tad too big for the serum. A couple pieces ended up stuck on my face and were pretty noticeable. If you are going to use these serum before applying makeup I would suggest removing the larger pieces of gold from your face before doing so.
Overall I do think this is a great product that did smooth my skin. It helped my makeup go on flawlessly and gave me a nice glow.
