That's IT, I've had enough of you Goody Hair Ties...I'm absolutely disgusted with your cheap quality. I know some of you will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

Yesterday it was about 37,ooo degrees outside (today is 84,010) and needed desperatly to get my hair off my neck. I head into CVS to pick up yet another pack of Goody Ouchless hair bands. I already knew my money was being wasted, but I had hopes.  Think back to how many packs you've purchased over the years and how long have they really lasted you? a week maybe a month?

Anyway back to the office I went to get this sweaty mop off my neck. I brush and brush creating the most perfect pony tail in history. I held it in my hands and admired my handy work in the mirror. I reach into my bag and pull out one of  brand new hair bands. After positioning everything just right I stretch the band to wrap it around the hair and SNAP that sucker BREAKS!

oh MAN was I mad, not only did the band snap it caused me to jerk my hair wrecking my oh so perfect pony. I took a couple of deep breaths shook it off and started again.

It just wasn't the same, you can expect to achieve such an artwork twice right. I reach for another hair tie. Thinking I'd outsmart Goody I decided to use TWO, HA if one breaks  I'm covered. With shaking hands I start to wrap the bands on my second pony tail. As expected one breaks, I'm laughing to myself now, knowing I'm ahead of the game. Until I hear the all too familiar sound of ripping from the second one. I look up slowly and there on the top of my head is the white rubber band that used to be covered by the black fabric. I thought I could let it slide just walk away. My brain and the newly formed eye twitch wouldn't let it go. I can't stand the rubber band rubbing against my hair. I start worrying about breakage and the rubber getting caught in my hair. I can not handle the idea I remove the band at once.

I'm now staring at my sweaty reflection in the mirror, my once perfect pony tail hanging off to the side hairs sticking out everywhere. On my third try and two more bands I finally achieve a pony tail I can leave the office with.

We never real think about these things, but it burns me to know how much money I've spent on Goody only to have the hair product break right after buying it. Please PLEASE let me know if you have a better company. I refuse to give Goody anymore of my cash.
