I've mentioned before my constant battle with jimungous pores and gross blackheads. Sammie a devoted dbeauty junkie reader asked yours truly how I battle my issues.

FIrst off the basics, blackheads and large pores are caused by oil and dead skin getting stuck in them. The pores in turn form plugs (the black stuff) and stretch out (the huger size).

Being that I wear makeup everyday I have to take special care of my face. I don't want to make the problem worse by mixing pounds of makeup into my pores. Many of you have told me how your masking breakouts and large pores with makeup. Makeup should be to enhance your look and maybe hide one or two blemishes not to create a mask. Your skin is crying out for help. I know I'm there and I still battle breakouts.

The best course of action I take is regularly washing my face with TaUT Skincare facial cleanser. It deep cleans my face and leaves NO TRACE of makeup. Next I apply  a toner to my entire face and neck just in case I missed any spots and finally if I have any blemishes that have appeared I put on Cosmedicine Nighttime Recovery Powder directly on the pimple. Usually in two days the blemish is gone.

You have to proactive if you seriously want to make a difference in your skin. I've also heard that diet plays a party in how often and how serious your breakouts are, that would be something you should look into if you don't see any change in your skin once you start a daily regime.

Thanks Sammie from Houston for your question, I hope I helped. Anyone else have a question, just email. I'm here to help.
