Thanks to the wonderful ladies of L'Oreal I was able to play with some of their new Infallible Paints Metallics products. I received three new lip glosses and three eye shadows as you can see from the photo below.

I was super excited to receive these press samples and I think I may check out a few more colors. Now L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paint Metallics Liquid Lipstick are a retake on the L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paints that launched sometime last year. These metallic shades are the new line up for summer. Ulta has 6 shades of these high impact lacquers. I received three of the 6: Liquid Vemon, Galatic Foil and Smoldering Eclipse. Gorgeous colors but I am not sure if these are permanent or limited edition. I am also noticing now that Ulta has 6 shades while the L'oreal site has only 4 so probably Ulta has some exclusive shades. I may need to check those out.

I am really ready for a change from matte lips so I was excited to try out these lip paints. They are really really pigmented, gorgeous one stroke color. So much fun to play with.

I also received three colors of the L'Oreal Infallible Paints Metallics Eye Shadow. In my PR package I received Violet Luster, Caged and Rose Chrome. I wasn't expecting these shades to be as pigmented as they are. You get this gorgeous foiled look that is extremely easy to blend and looks fabulous from any angle. I used a bit of mixing medium to create a multidimensional effect that looks so beautiful. There are so many ways you can use these shadows that my mind just ran wild. I will be including these colors from time to time so make sure you are watching my instagram for the updated looks.

Of course I couldn't wait to start playing with my new babies so I put together the look below. Just a sexy rock and roll number that turned heads. On the eyes I used Violet Luster all over the lid, and deepened the color with Caged focusing mostly on the outer corner and crease. On the lips I applied Liquid Venom all over with Galatic Foil on the inside of my lips to give them a bit of dimension.

What do you guys think? Are we feeling the metallic trend?
