So back on December 1st I posted how Johnson and Johnson were on the hunt for the "Familia De Hoy", if you have literally no clue what I'm talking about click here to catch up.
After all the votes the Jiménez Family was the family chosen by America. I thought that was pretty cool because my own family is very similar to their family structure.
The Jiménez family you see in the photo above is actually part of a much larger family that consists of The Jiménez brothers 4, 3 wives, 8 children and 1 Grandmother. The 3 married brothers live right next door to each other with connecting backyards and the fourth brother lives close by. The Grandmother is right there with them, living in the house with Juan and his family right where she raised them.
My family and my husband's family are the exact same way. On my father's side everyone lived on the same block in different apartments but all in the same vicinity my grandmother lived on the top floor, my aunt on the first and countless cousins in between those apartments. It was total anarchy but I loved every single minute running up and down that brownstone visiting everyone and anyone.
I adore the special bond the Jiménez family shares, I grew up the same way. Everyone is constantly looking out for each other, whether its watching a child, everyone gathering for a special occasions or just getting together to have a BBQ in the park. Their commitment to life is passing on the traditional values and their Hispanic roots to the younger generation. It's something that every generation should be passing onto the next one. It is these core values that kept me and I'm sure many others voting for them. I am so pleased they won.
In connection to writing about the Jiménez family I received a few fabulous products from Johnson & Johnson. I am always thankful to receive some wonderful presents from Johnson and Johnson. Included in my package were a bottle of Listerine Cool Mint Mouth Wash, a bottle of Lubriderm daily moisture lotion, a tube of Neosporin original ointment, a tube of Bengay ultra, a bottle of infant's Tylenol grape, a green bottle of Johnson and Johnson's 2-in-1 baby shampoo and conditioner and a tube of Johnson and Johnson's No More Tangles Leave-in conditioner.
I haven't used most of the products I received but I was in desperate need of shampoo when my package arrived. I am a huge fan of Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo but it would look kinda weird if I went in and bought it, so I'm super thankful to have been sent a bottle.
My hair is on the thin side so most shampoos weigh my hair down. I use the shampoo and leave in conditioner as part of a three step system. That leaves my hair really healthy looking and very shiny.
I use the NO MORE TANGLES® 2 in 1 Shampoo first, then to manage my rats next I apply the NO MORE TANGLES® Leave In Conditioner to avoid knots and control my super frizz, I also add a little of the NO MORE TANGLES® Detangling Spray because it gives that extra boost of shine to my hair. I picked up the detangling spray at my local walgreens. This is an awesome product I highly suggest you guys go check it out.
The products smell amazing as well, which is why Gryphen is trying to hoard them for himself. :) I really wish Johnson & Johnson would come out with a pet line I would be their most loyal customer. Anyway what is your favorite Johnson and Johnson product?
